Founder: Julia

Julia has spent over fourteen years building expertise in the import sector. She and her husband arrived in the UK twenty-five years ago, where they met at university, married, and established their family.

With deep family connections in China's manufacturing and wholesale industries, Julia has cultivated strong relationships that underpin our operations establishing a foothold in the industry sector. A dual presence with teams based in both the UK and China has positioned Julia uniquely to support customers with reliable sourcing, quality oversight, and seamless logistics across both markets.

Product Development Manager: Claire

Claire graduated from The London College of Fashion in 2001 and spent a decade designing and developing footwear with some of the of the UK's biggest retail multiple names including M&S, Next, Debenhams, Topshop, Asda and Tesco to name a few. A further 11 years was spent as Product Director at a leading European Accessories Wholesaler whilst simultaneously running her own fashion retail business. Most recently Claire moved to IGO DIRECT from Research & Development Manager at the UK's largest independent contamination control laundry business.

Having worked on both sides of the table as a customer, but also a supplier, Claire has developed a dual viewpoint when it comes to developing products.

Our product teams based across China is what makes our opperation so special. Seamless communication has given our the business the edge when it comes to developing products. Every sample request, price, and individual search for the perfect material/colour/packaging.......every tiny detail, is handled professionaly and at speed.
